You're turning the key. You're keeping the appointments. You're watching your child push through it. But something in you knows their body is carrying more than it should have to—and that the expansion itself is only part of the picture.
Children's bodies are constantly adapting to growth, development, and the physical demands of things like palate expansion. When tension builds faster than the body can process it, it shows up in how they sleep, how they breathe, how they move, and how they regulate.
Mouth breathing, disrupted sleep, coordination challenges, sensory-seeking behaviors, and headaches aren't isolated issues. They're the body asking for support in adapting to what it's moving through.
She helped me through nursing struggles with my second baby, and was the reason I began looking into our family’s airway health... Amanda looks at the whole equation, not just one isolated issue. Not to mention, there was a lot of emotion tied into all of this and Amanda’s calming presence and regulated nervous system was a huge factor in my baby and I being able to have a successful breastfeeding journey. Highly recommend!
“Amanda changed the trajectory of my family’s health”
At just two weeks postpartum, my baby and I were struggling with lip and tongue ties, and I felt so overwhelmed. She took the time to educate me on what was really going on, explained everything in a way that made sense, and gave me thoughtful recommendations to help increase my milk supply. Her compassion and knowledge brought me so much peace and confidence during such a hard time. I’m forever grateful for her guidance and care.
"Amanda made me feel heard, understood, and cared for."
We went to Amanda when my baby boy was about 1 month old. We were told he had significant tongue tie that needed to be cut. We didn’t feel right about this so we looked into CFT and booked an appointment with Amanda. After only 2 sessions, we were breastfeeding with no pain anymore. She has an incredible gift!! Thanks to Amanda, we never revised his tongue tie and we are now 8 months strong still breastfeeding!! If you’re thinking about an appointment, do it!!
"After only 2 sessions, we were breastfeeding with no pain"
When my daughter was just a few weeks old, I noticed she strongly favored one side of her head and seemed very tight. Amanda's gentle approach helped release the tension, and she quickly regained full range of motion and moved much more comfortably. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Her nurturing care put both me and my daughter at ease from the very beginning. I'm so grateful for the difference she made and would highly recommend her to any parent seeking support for their little one.
"We saw a remarkable difference in just two visits."
FROM MOTHERS WHO’VE BEEN EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE...
We take time at the start of every session to let your child orient to the space, to us, and to what's about to happen. We explain what we're doing in a way that makes sense to them, answer their questions, and never move faster than they're ready for.
The tension that builds through growth, development, and palette expansion doesn't always show up where you'd expect it. Sometimes it's the sleep. Sometimes it's the mood. Sometimes it's the way they breathe, or move, or just seem like they're working harder than they should have to.
I came to this work through my own children, and I understand what it feels like to sense something is off and need someone who truly sees the whole picture. When I work with your child, I'm not just addressing one symptom. I'm supporting their whole body in adapting to whatever it's moving through—so they can feel more comfortable, more regulated, and more at ease in their own skin.
As children grow, their bodies are constantly reorganizing—adapting to new teeth, expanding palates, changing posture, and a nervous system that's still learning how to regulate. When tension accumulates faster than the body can process it, it gets stored in the cranium, jaw, diaphragm, and fascia.
We support the body in releasing what's been held, so it can adapt more easily to whatever it's moving through.
Sleep becomes more restful as the nervous system finds its footing. Breathing deepens and opens. The jaw that's been bracing softens. Your child starts to feel more regulated, comfortable, and at ease in their own body.
And you stop holding your breath every time the key turns—because you know their body has the support it needs to move through expansion.
The discomfort, sleep disruption, and mood changes feel like more than just an adjustment period, and you want support that helps their whole body adapt.
The mouth breathing, the posture that's pulled inward, the tension you can see and feel in their body. You know there's more to it than what you're being told.
They're waking more, feeling tired in the morning with bags under their eyes even after a full night's sleep, and more reactive than usual. Your gut says something physical is driving it.
You're not looking to replace your orthodontist or dentist. You want someone who supports the whole picture while the other work is being done.
Palate expansion support, tongue ties, mouth breathing, disrupted sleep, coordination and movement challenges, sensory-seeking behaviors, headaches, open mouth posture, snoring, and whole-body tension patterns affecting how your child feels day to day.
As the palate widens, tension builds in the jaw, cranium, and fascia—often faster than the body can process on its own. Craniosacral therapy helps release that tension so your child's body can adapt more easily to the changes happening in their mouth and airway. Sessions support the expansion process and help your child stay more comfortable throughout treatment.
We never force. We take time at the start of every session to help your child feel oriented and comfortable, explain what we're doing in a way that makes sense to them, and always follow their lead. If they need more time, we slow down. This work only happens when the body feels safe enough to receive it.
We do. We believe children are best supported when all of their providers are working together. We're happy to communicate with your orthodontist, airway dentist, myofunctional therapist, and any other provider involved in your child's care to make sure everyone is aligned.
